The Wellness Way is a distinctive franchise network of Health Restoration Clinics that diverges from conventional medical practices to address health challenges that others might not be able to solve. Founded by Dr. Patrick Flynn, The Wellness Way embarked on its journey in 1999 with the opening of the first clinic, Heart to Hands Chiropractic.

The evolution of this initial endeavor led to the establishment of Flynn’s Children and Family Chiropractic in 2002, and eventually, the Wellness Way as it's known today in 2007. The franchise made its mark by becoming the first Health Restoration Clinic Franchise in 2023, demonstrating a strong commitment to health restoration over the years.

Headquartered in Green Bay, Wisconsin, The Wellness Way started offering franchise opportunities in April 2022. The franchise provides a comprehensive business model for operating chiropractic and wellness clinics under The Wellness Way’s unique system and trademarks.

What sets The Wellness Way apart is its foundational philosophy that the human body is inherently designed for wellness, not illness, and can recover its natural healing abilities with proper care. This principle is echoed through their comprehensive approach to health restoration, which includes in-depth testing, personalized health plans, and one-on-one guidance. The franchise network thrives on the collective expertise of its community, offering continuous training and support to practitioners, ensuring they remain at the forefront of health restoration practices.

Does

The Wellness Way

provide

training

to its

franchisees?

Yes,
The Wellness Way
provides
training

The franchisor provides comprehensive training for franchisees, which includes initial and ongoing programs to ensure the successful operation and management of the franchise. Here's an overview of the training provided:

Initial Training

The franchisor offers an initial training program for key positions such as the Designated Managing Owner, Designated Managing Chiropractor, Designated Office Manager, Designated Marketing Coordinator, and other staff members as requested by the franchisee.

This training covers essential aspects of franchise operation, including administrative procedures, sales and marketing methods, financial controls, quality standards maintenance, customer service techniques, and record-keeping. The initial training is included in the franchise fee, and franchisees are responsible for their travel and accommodation expenses.

Ongoing Training

In addition to the initial training, the franchisor may provide ongoing training programs or seminars. These are designed to keep franchise staff updated on new practices, technologies, and standards within the franchise system.

Attendance at these ongoing training sessions may be mandatory for certain staff members, and franchisees are responsible for the associated costs, including travel and accommodations. The franchisor may also require additional training as a condition for curing defaults in franchise operations.

Does

The Wellness Way

provides

territory

protection?

The franchisor grants franchisees a protected territory known as the "Area of Primary Responsibility," which is mutually agreed upon by the franchisor and franchisee and typically encompasses a 3 or more mile radius from the approved location.

Within this designated area, the franchisee is expected to operate their franchised The Wellness Way Clinic and limit all direct marketing, advertising, and business activities to within this territory.

As long as the franchise agreement remains in force and the franchisee is not in default under any terms of the agreement, the franchisor agrees not to limit or alter the boundaries of the franchisee's Area of Primary Responsibility.

Can a

The Wellness Way

franchise

be run as

a passive

investment?

The franchised The Wellness Way Clinic must always be under the direct supervision of a Designated Managing Owner or a similar key position as required by the franchisor.

This indicates that franchisees are expected to be actively involved in the day-to-day operations of their franchises, ensuring adherence to the franchisor's standards and practices. The requirement for active supervision underscores the franchisor's emphasis on maintaining quality and consistency across all franchise locations.
