Initial Franchise Fee
When signing a Franchise Agreement, you will pay an initial franchise fee of $29,500. If you are an existing franchisee acquiring your second or subsequent Club, you are eligible for a reduced initial franchise fee of $24,500.
This fee is payable in full when the Franchise Agreement is signed and is considered fully earned and non-refundable upon payment. For qualified veterans under the IFA’s VetFran program, there is a discount, and the initial franchise fee is $24,500.
Royalty Fee

Initial Training Program
The franchise offers an initial training program for at least two people from the franchisee's organization, which must include the general manager. This training is mandatory and must be completed to the franchisor's satisfaction. The program spans three days and covers various aspects of running a Snap Fitness franchise, including:
- Individual Marketing and Brand Strategy (4 hours of classroom training)
- Individual Sales Process Application
- Operations (which includes business planning, leadership, staffing, onboarding, membership sales, systems, personal training, and more)
The training program also encompasses a competitive marketplace analysis, lead generation/marketing process, sales process, personal training, club culture, member retention, and software training.
Costs and Location
Franchisees must arrange and cover the expenses for themselves and their general manager to attend the training program, including transportation, lodging, meals, and wages. The training typically takes place at the franchisor's headquarters in Chanhassen, Minnesota, but may also be offered virtually.
Additional Training Requirements
In certain circumstances, such as when a franchisee fails to meet operational standards, Snap Fitness may require additional training as a condition for remedying any defaults. This additional training must be completed within a reasonable time as specified by the franchisor.
