Does

Mosquito Squad

provide

training

to its

franchisees?

Yes,
Mosquito Squad
provides
training

The franchisor provides a comprehensive training program for franchisees, which includes the following components:

Initial Training

  • The franchisor offers a pre-opening training program for the franchisee and designated employees, which takes place at locations selected by the franchisor.
  • The training program's duration and content may vary based on the trainees' prior experience.
  • Successful completion of the training may require passing tests to establish proficiency in various areas designated by the franchisor.
  • The franchisor has the right to terminate the agreement if, during the pre-opening training, they conclude that any required attendee does not possess the necessary skills.

Additional Training

  • After the franchised business opens, the franchisor will make available other required and optional training programs as deemed necessary.
  • These programs are held at times and locations designated by the franchisor, and successful completion is required for designated individuals.

Training Methods

  • The franchisor may provide training in person, by video, via the Internet, or by other means as determined.
  • Training may be performed by the franchisor, its affiliates, or third parties.

Does

Mosquito Squad

provides

territory

protection?

The franchisor grants franchisees a protected territory, meaning that during the term of the Franchise Agreement, as long as the franchisee is in full compliance with the terms, including certain Minimum Performance Requirements and the obligation to primarily service customers within the territory, the franchisor will not operate or authorize others to operate franchised businesses within that territory.

However, this protection is not absolute, as the franchisor retains the right to operate or license others to operate under the same marks and system at any location outside the franchisee's territory operate a business under the same marks inside the territory if the franchisor (or its affiliate) is already operating there as of the Agreement Date or if the franchisor has notified the franchisee before signing the Agreement that it intends to do so.

Additionally, franchisees do not receive an exclusive territory and may face competition from other franchisees, outlets owned by the franchisor, or other distribution channels or brands controlled by the franchisor.

Can a

Mosquito Squad

franchise

be run as

a passive

investment?

Franchisees must designate an individual responsible for the day-to-day operational performance of the franchised business, referred to as the "Key Person." This individual does not necessarily have to be an owner of the franchised business but must have the authority to make all decisions regarding the business.

The Key Person is required to successfully complete the franchisor's training program and work on the premises at the business office. The franchisor relies on statements, agreements, or representations made by the Key Person on behalf of the franchisee.
