Initial franchise fee

The initial franchise fee for signing a Franchise Agreement to develop a single studio is $40,000. This fee is required to be paid as a lump sum by wire transfer and is fully earned by the franchisor upon payment. It is non-refundable.

Advertising Fees

The advertising fees include a Brand Marketing Fund fee, which is 6% of Gross Receipts, and a Local Advertising Fee. Additionally, there's a requirement to spend a minimum of 2% of the Gross Receipts of your Studio each month on approved advertising, marketing, and promotional programs.

Technology Fee & Set-Up Fees

This includes a monthly technology fee of $600 for services like website or email hosting, software development, and other technology services. Additionally, there's a software set-up fee of $499 and a national Gift Card program set-up fee of $75, each payable by ACH.

Monthly Management Fee

Applicable in cases of abandonment, default, or termination, with an amount up to $7,500 per month plus direct out-of-pocket expenses.

Royalty and Marketing Fees

Includes Brand Marketing Fund (6% of Gross Receipts) and Local Advertising Fee.

Transfer Fee Deposit

In the event of a transfer, a fee deposit of $5,000 is required.

The franchisor provides comprehensive training for franchisees and their staff, encompassing various aspects of operating the franchise. 

Initial Training

  • Before opening the Studio, the franchisee (or the Operating Partner) and the Designated Manager must attend and satisfactorily complete the franchisor's initial training program.
  • This program is mandatory and participants must complete it to the franchisor's satisfaction no later than four weeks before the opening date. 
  • The training program is offered without charge for these participants.

Manager Training Program

  • The franchisor may offer a separate manager training program. If offered and attended, the franchisee may be required to pay the current training fee, which is typically $500 per day per attendee, plus associated costs. 
  • This program is not currently mandatory, but the franchisor reserves the right to require it in the future.

Additional and Special Training

  • The franchisor may offer or require additional training programs from time to time. Franchisees may be required to pay the franchisor's current training fee for such programs.

The franchisor offers limited territory protection for franchisees. Each franchisee is assigned a "Protected Area," typically a circle with a 1.5-mile radius centered on their franchise location. Within this Protected Area, the franchisor agrees not to establish or authorize any other studios using its trademarks.

However, this territorial protection is not exclusive, and the franchisor retains the right to operate other businesses and franchises outside this Protected Area. Additionally, the franchisor can establish businesses in "Captive Market Locations" within the Protected Area.

investment?

The franchisor requires active participation in the operation of the franchise business. If the franchise agreement is signed by a legal business entity, an individual with at least a 25% ownership and voting interest must be designated as the "Operating Partner."

This Operating Partner, who must be approved by the franchisor, is expected to supervise the Studio on a full-time basis and exert efforts to promote and enhance the Studio. The entity may not engage in any business other than the operation of the Studio, unless approved for additional Studios under separate franchise agreements.
