Does

Amazing Lash Studio

provides

territory

protection?

Amazing Lash offer territory protection to its franchisees. Franchisees are granted a "Protected Area," typically a 1.5-mile radius from their studio. Within this area, the franchisor agrees not to establish or authorize new studios. However, the franchise granted is non-exclusive outside this Protected Area, allowing the franchisor to open other businesses or studios beyond it.

Additionally, the franchisor reserves rights in specific Captive Market Locations, such as airports or universities, even within the Protected Area. Despite the territorial protection, the franchisor may compete in the franchisee's territory through various channels or with different brands. Also, franchisees are restricted from selling via alternative channels like the internet, ensuring the exclusivity of physical sales within their territory.

Amazing Lash Studio

franchise

be run as

a passive

investment?

The Amazing Lash franchise agreement emphasizes active participation from franchise owners, requiring an individual with a significant ownership interest to be involved in the operation of the franchise. If the franchise agreement is signed by a legal business entity, an individual with at least a 25% ownership and voting interest must be designated as the "Operating Partner".

This operating Partner must be approved by the franchisor. The Operating Partner is typically expected to take an active role in the management and operation of the franchise. The franchise agreement may contain restrictions on transferring the franchise or operating the business in a manner that does not align with the franchisor's standards and expectations.
